For the first time in the History of Uechi-Ryu, the «Sanschin Gitae» is shown with the first Sanchin Kata, and with the applications of the three other Kata.

Sanchin : Sanchin is one of the three kata brought back from China by Master Kambum UECHI, founder of the Uéchi-Ryu Karate Do. It’s the first one of the 8 Uechi-Ryu Kata and it is the foundation of our whole school.

Sanchin-Gitae : «Sanchin-Gitae» is what separates Uechi-Ryu from the other Karate-Do schools, because of its violence. «Sanchin Gitae» is one of its most representative methods for the strengthening of the body.

Kata Seichin : This Kata was created by Master Saburo UEHARA. Defense and attack are performed with the same arm, but both arms may be used as well as one knee for defense against two enemies. During the execution of this kata, you will discover two scenes of Hirate Mawashi-uke left followed by Furihiji-uchi right that will be performed against a right Suto-Uchi...

Kyu-Yakusoku-Kumite : This Kata was invented by Master Seisho YONAHA for the Kyu practitioners. This Kata must be performed with vigor and swiftness.
