About the Instructor:

Nino Schembri is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Carlos Gracie Jr. and one of the sport's most innovative competitors. Nicknamed the "King of the Omoplata," he helped popularize many modern open guard and submission concepts through his creative grappling style. A multiple-time world champion and former PRIDE fighter, Schembri now teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Southern California.
